Do not treat a flat top or a product name as proof that the cabinet is suitable for a printer.

- Ask the cabinet seller for the top-surface use and load rating in writing; a product name or photograph does not confirm that a printer can sit there.

- If the printer vibrates or needs frequent paper changes, compare that disruption with a separate printer stand before committing; the cabinet may be better left as pure file storage.
